Discover the latest biophilic design trends shaping the future

approaches transforming spaces in 2025.

environments. Biophilic design, which
integrates natural elements into
architecture and interiors, has gained
traction in recent years. By prioritising
well-being, sustainability, and a closer
connection to nature, biophilic design
continues to evolve in 2025. Here are
the top trends shaping its future:
1. Advanced Green Walls and Verti-
cal Gardens
Green walls, also known as living walls,
remain a defining feature of biophilic
design blending nature with archi-
tecture to enhance well-being and
sustainability. In 2025, these installa-

tions will continue getting smarter and more sustain-
able than ever. Advances in hydroponic technology
and automated irrigation systems enable green walls
to flourish in offices, homes, and urban complexes.

vibrant environments. These
features improve air quality and
reduce the urban heat island ef-
fect, creating cooler and more
breathable cities. As an integral
part of sustainable urban devel-
opment, green walls exemplify
how technology and nature
can harmoniously transform
modern living spaces.
2. Biophilic Workspaces for
Hybrid Offices
Furthermore, the rise of hybrid
work models has pushed com-
panies to redesign workplaces
with employee well-being in
mind. Natural lighting, indoor
plants, and organic materials
are becoming staples of office
design, helping reduce stress
and boost productivity. Biophilic
workspaces also emphasise
flexibility, offering quiet, green
retreats or collaborative zones
inspired by natural textures.
These designs replicate eco-
systems, fostering creativity and
balance among workers.
3. Nature-Inspired Wellness
Spaces
In the wake of the pandemic,
wellness has become a priority
in design. Biophilic principles
are being integrated into spaces
such as spas, gyms, and health-
care facilities to enhance mental
and physical health. For instance,
hospitals incorporate “healing
gardens” and nature-inspired
patterns in patient rooms to
promote faster recovery. Studies,
including research from Heri-
ot-Watt University, highlight how
exposure to nature can reduce
stress and support well-being
in healthcare environments,
showcasing the tangible benefits
of biophilic design.
4. Interactive Water Features
Water symbolises tranquillity
and renewal in biophilic design.
In 2025, water features are
expected to become more
interactive and sustainable.
Indoor waterfalls, reflecting
pools with rainwater harvest-
ing systems, and smaller fea-
tures like tabletop fountains
are gaining popularity. These
elements provide a calming
ambience while supporting
sustainable practices, making
them a versatile addition to
homes and workplaces.
5. Biophilic Technology
Integration
Technology is merging with
biophilic design to create
innovative urban living solu-
tions. Smart systems can now
simulate natural lighting and
ventilation cycles, adjusting
indoor conditions to align
with nature's rhythms, im-
proving indoor comfort and
supporting circadian health.
Meanwhile, augmented reality
(AR) and virtual reality (VR)
also play a role by immersing
users in natural environments.
Virtual windows displaying
forests or ocean views are
particularly beneficial in urban
areas with limited access to
nature.
6. Biomimicry in Design
and Architecture
Biomimicry draws inspira-
tion from nature’s forms and
systems to address design
challenges. In 2025, architects
and designers are adopting
biomimicry to create sus-
tainable, functional spaces.
Examples include buildings
inspired by termite mounds
for natural ventilation or shell-
like structures for strength
and flexibility. By learning >>>

from nature, these designs promote
resilience and sustainability in con-
struction.
7. Community-Centric Urban
Biophilic design is moving beyond
individual buildings to reshape urban
communities. Planners are integrat-
ing nature into cities through initia-
tives like rooftop gardens, tree-lined
Trends
streets, and pocket parks. Biodiversity
corridors, continuous green spaces
supporting local ecosystems, are being
developed to balance urban growth
with ecological needs. For instance,
at Heriot-Watt University’s Dubai
campus, traditional Arabic elements,
such as an interpretation of the classic
Mashrabiya screens, are incorporated
into the design. The Mashrabiyas allow
for porosity within the design and
comforting light quality. These efforts
enhance urban livability while fostering
community connections.
8. Sustainable Materials and Local
Sourcing
Sustainability lies at the heart of
biophilic design, and 2025 sees a
stronger focus on using renewable,
locally sourced materials like bamboo,
wood, clay, and stone. These materials
align with eco-friendly practices and
emphasise the importance of reducing the environmental footprint
of construction and design projects. Designers can minimise trans-
portation emissions and celebrate regional landscapes by using local
materials. This approach aligns with global sustainability goals while
preserving cultural heritage. Beyond environmental benefits, using nat-
ural materials enhances spaces' aesthetic and sensory appeal, creating
environments that feel warm, grounded, and connected to the natural
world. Designers increasingly incorporate these elements into urban
and residential projects, blending modern functionality with timeless,
earth-inspired textures and colours.
This focus on regional materials also preserves and celebrates cultural
heritage. Every stone, plank of wood, or piece of bamboo tells a story
of the land it comes from, enabling designs that resonate with local
identity while contributing to a global sustainability narrative. By prior-
itising renewable, locally sourced materials, biophilic design continues
to bridge the gap between sustainable innovation and the timeless
wisdom of nature.
Looking Ahead
Biophilic design is more than a trend, it’s a shift toward healthier, more
sustainable living. Reconnecting people with nature transforms how we
live, work, and interact with our surroundings. Institutions like Heri-
ot-Watt University Dubai are at the forefront of this movement, offering
insights and innovative solutions to today’s design challenges. As we
embrace biophilic principles in 2025, we move closer to creating envi-
ronments where people and nature thrive.

What future advancements or updates
are in the pipeline for HP technology,
and how do you see them reshaping the
design and printing landscape?
At HP we continue to develop technologies
that will always help creatives and designers
differentiate themselves efficiently and
responsibly.
We continue to introduce more sustaina-
ble, efficient, and quality solutions.
The objective is to always increase versa-
tility and innovation to allow creatives to
explore new ideas and solutions that allow
them to differentiate themselves.
How is HP planning to capture untapped
markets and raise awareness among
designers and architects about the
potential of Latex printing?
HP Latex ink printing technology is used
widely around the world by designers and
architects for interior décor.
In the Middle East and Africa region, we
had many major successes with creative
designers who have built businesses based
on this technology.
But there is more work to do in terms of
increasing awareness by showing creative
minds what these technologies allow them
to do.
We were surprised many times by what
these professionals create using these tech-
nologies once they have access to them.
What feedback have you received from
the design community regarding HP
printers, and how is this influencing your
future plans and market strategy?
A lot of professionals from the design
community are still not aware of what HP
Latex printing technology can do for them.

These printers are smart connected devices with
remote management that can help maintain
production and reliability with predictive service
and ink monitoring.
Software solutions like SmartStream for
production environments and HP click for per-
sonal users, ensure optimized resource usage by
maximizing layout on substrates and minimizing
errors and waste.
As mentioned in the previous question, HP Large
Format printers offer compatibility with a wide
range of material, more than any other solutions in
the market.

When showing some of these outputs, they
were impressed with the quality and had a
lot of questions.
This is always very interesting as it gets
the creative mind working on how can use
this technology to create bespoke solutions.
Our objective going forward is to reach
out to those professionals and just show
them the technology, and how it can
unleash a new wave of creativity and appli-
cations that are customized, professional,
and cost-effective.
What were your key takeaways from
the discussions and interactions at the
recently concluded Design Forum 2024
with other industry professionals?
The first takeaway from the interactions
with the industry professionals is that this
is a very vibrant and active community,
that is always looking to keep up with the
technologies available, from AI to printers.
Regarding the discussions about HP Large
Format printing solutions, we realised that
for most of them, this was a new technology
that was interesting for them, and they
wanted to understand more about how it
works and what potential applications they
can use.
We believe that what HP Large Format
printers will offer is a new solution for cus-
tomization that will take creativity to the next
level, by allowing customization of elements
of décor that were standard until now.

From Humble Beginnings to Industry
Success
Those who know Govind know what a humble gentleman he
is. He never set out to become a business owner—his passion
for design and the encouragement from his supporters pushed
him to create his own company. There's an intriguing story
behind how the firm got its name. Govind shares that his journey
began not with a grand plan, but with a deep desire to design

authentically: “TwentyOne06 was born from a moment of
clarity, not a master plan. I never set out to own a business—I
just wanted to design authentically. After feeling creatively
constrained in previous roles, I took a leap and walked away
without a job lined up, seeking to reconnect with my passion
for design. The turning point came when former clients
reached out, trusting my approach and wanting to work
with me again. At that point, I didn’t even have a company
name or a trade license—I was working out of my apartment.
That’s how TwentyOne06 got its name: it’s the number of the
apartment where this journey began.”
T
here was a pivotal phase in Govind's life that shifted
his focus toward sustainable design, inspiring him
to step into the role of both a leader and a designer.
He explains, saying: “A defining chapter came when
my daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition.
At the same time, we were approaching our fifth year in
business—a milestone that, as many entrepreneurs know, is
often make-or-break. These events reshaped my perspective.
I realised the need to build something sustainable for my
family and team, shifting from designer to leader and mentor. >>>

W
ith his principles firmly in place and a mindset of accountability,
Govind has built a dream team at his office—something he takes
immense pride in. “As the owner of a boutique firm, I’ve learned
that every decision I make—no matter how minor—has a cascading
effect on our team, business, and clients. This awareness pushes me to be deliberate
and thoughtful in my choices. A core principle I emphasise is accountability. My
decisions directly influence the team, the company's trajectory, and even our
industry footprint. Likewise, the team’s decisions impact their colleagues, our clients,
and the overall success of a project. By fostering a culture of shared responsibility,
By focussing on talent and infrastructure,
we scaled to take on larger, more ambitious
projects. This transformation positioned
us to define the standard for design
excellence.”
From Designer to Leader
Govind chose the F&B and hospitality
sectors for their challenges, innovation
demands, and personal passion. The skills
developed in these areas were also highly
transferable. Recognising the need for
growth, he shifted from hands-on design
to becoming a leader and mentor. This
evolution allowed him to build a strong,
dynamic team.
W
hen asked about his
leadership style, Govind
admits he’s still evolving,
drawing inspiration from
industry leaders he's learned from along the
way. He emphasises that treating his team
the way he once wished to be treated as a
designer keeps him grounded and focussed.
“Leadership, for me, is an evolving journey.
At TwentyOne06, it’s about constant
learning and adapting. I draw from past
leaders and focus on balancing support with
accountability. It’s about treating my team
as I would have wanted to be treated.”

we ensure that everyone feels invested in our collective success. This
philosophy has cultivated a team that not only takes ownership of their
roles but also supports one another in achieving our shared goals,”
comments Govind.
The Need for Rebranding
Rebranding your own company is one of the hardest tasks—there’s an
emotional connection that makes it challenging to see your own brand
objectively, feels Govind.
“We applied our expertise in research, data analysis, and brand
development to our own rebranding—a challenging yet rewarding
process. It was a collaborative effort where every team member played
a role in shaping our new identity. When TwentyOne06 started, the
focus was on survival and fulfilling immediate needs. With limited
resources and my entire life savings invested in this venture (with my
wife’s support), we operated on a shoestring budget. There’s immense
value in that scrappy, resourceful phase—it teaches resilience and
prioritisation. But as we grew, fresh perspectives from new team
members and external advisors helped us recognise that our vision had
outgrown our original identity,” elaborates Govind.
G
ovind’s decision to rebrand stemmed from the realisation
that the firm had evolved beyond its startup roots. Govind
highlights: “The new brand philosophy captures who we are
today: a boutique agency delivering cutting-edge, impactful,
and storytelling-driven design solutions. It reflects not only our
journey but also our future—a commitment to setting benchmarks
in the industry while staying true to our roots as innovative problem
solvers.”
The Year of Recognition: 2024
2024 has been a landmark year for TwentyOne06, marked by both
diversification and recognition. While the F&B sector remains the
company’s core strength, it successfully expanded into new areas such
as hotels, healthcare, spas, and residential projects.
“2024 has been a year of growth, learning, and achievement,

East Awards. These awards are not just trophies—
they’re a testament to the hard work, creativity, and
passion our team pours into every project.,” says
Govind with pride.
This year, TwentyOne06's collaboration with
Michelin-awarded chefs reached new heights, with
projects like Reif Kushiyaki, TERO, and Hoe Lee Kow
showcasing how intentional design can transform
dining into unforgettable experiences.
Circling back to your award-winning streak, how has your
recent win at the Design Middle East Awards inspired you
and your team? “Winning the Design Middle East Award was
a humbling moment for our team, affirming our clients' trust.
It motivates us to continue pushing boundaries and refining
our craft, ensuring every project tells a unique, bold story,
says Govind.
From Aggressive Growth to Focussed
Growth
In 2024, TwentyOne06 embraced a vision of "Aggressive
Growth." This meant pushing the boundaries of what the
team could achieve in a short span—expanding, diversifying
into new sectors, and driving significant revenue growth.
“In 2025, we are transitioning to a strategy of "Focussed
Growth." The goal is to build on the successes of 2024 while
refining our processes and optimising our approach. This
means doubling down on areas where we excel, adjusting
strategies that didn’t yield results, and streamlining
inefficiencies. We are now focussing on addressing internal
bottlenecks and streamlining workflows. By hiring an
experienced design manager to optimize deliverables and
support the team, we ensure timelines are met without
compromising quality. This shift allows me to focus on
strategic growth and creative direction while fostering a
more efficient and structured environment. With "Focused
Growth" as our guiding principle, we’re building a sustainable
foundation for long-term success,” remarks Govind.
G
ovind further credits placing the right people in the
right roles as a key aspect of this focussed growth.
He puts it correctly: “At TwentyOne06, I believe
that hunger, creativity, and common sense are non-
negotiable. Skills can be taught, but these intrinsic qualities
are what drive individuals to excel in our environment. When
building the team, I prioritise finding individuals who can
bring more passion, expertise, or focus than I can. I seek
people who complement my weaknesses and offer fresh
perspectives. For instance, our marketing manager, Hanaa,
transitioned from fashion design to marketing, bringing a
deep understanding of storytelling that aligns with our ethos
of narrative-driven design. I also focus on uncovering hidden
potential, and empowering individuals to take ownership and
grow. This approach has been key to our success, ensuring we
have a skilled, aligned team that creates impactful, purpose-
driven designs.”
Building Lasting Client Relationships
Building the right client relationships isn’t just about securing
projects for Govind; it’s about aligning with partners who
share his design philosophy, appreciate the team’s focus
on sustainability, and understand the value of emotionally
resonant, experiential spaces. Govind mentions: “Growth
naturally brings evolution, and some clients we’ve worked
with in the past may no longer align with where we are today.
This isn’t a setback—it’s a progression that opens doors to
new opportunities with collaborators who better match our
direction.”
So, how to tackle this? Govind explains: “To support this
shift, I’ve restructured parts of the team, including bringing
Reif Kushiyaki—where artistry meets authenticity, blending heart, talent,
and reinvention for a dining experience beyond the ordinary.

on a design manager to handle
day-to-day operations. This
has given me the bandwidth
to focus on relationship-
building, whether it’s
connecting with new clients
or rekindling partnerships
with past collaborators who
resonate with our evolved
vision. We focus on partnering
with clients who inspire us,
challenge us creatively, and
share our values. Success
comes from working with the
right people on projects where
both sides are fully invested.
By prioritising meaningful
collaborations, we’re not just
expanding our portfolio—
we’re establishing ourselves
as a trusted, forward-thinking
leader in design.”
Diverse projects
planned for 2025!
For Govind, storytelling
drives their design philosophy,
creating spaces that foster
connections and evoke
emotions. While they excel
in hospitality, their adaptable
approach delivers impactful
results across healthcare,
commercial, and residential
sectors.
“At TwentyOne06, we bring
storytelling to life across
various sectors. For IRISE
Tower, the transformation
of a traditional workspace
into a dynamic environment
that sparks creativity and
collaboration is underway.
At Acacia Dental Clinic, the
focus is on redefining patient
care by creating spaces that
prioritize comfort and calm,
using hospitality-driven
principles. With Flaky
Pastry, a bakery experience is
being designed that serves as
both a culinary destination
and a cultural hub. Our
clients choose us for more
than just functionality—they
want spaces that captivate,
connect, and communicate
a clear narrative, elevating
experiences across industries
with purposeful, beautiful
design. For 2025, our
focus remains the same: to
create environments that
seamlessly combine purpose,
story, and operational
excellence, ensuring every
project tells a tale worth
remembering,” shares
Govind.
Leading in 2025
After an ambitious 2024,
2025 will be a year of focussed
growth and transformation for
both Govind and the company.
His primary role as a leader
will be to nurture the team
and cultivate stronger, more
meaningful relationships with
clients.
Govind states: “One of
my key objectives is to
cultivate the next generation
of leaders within the
company, empowering
them to take ownership
of their departments. For
instance, Mike Kobzar
will begin managing the
branding department, and
I’m committed to guiding
him through the process of
running a department as
its own entity, equipping
him with the skills to lead
successfully.”
Govind wants to
simultaneously to deepen
the client relationships
by prioritising trust,
transparency, and
understanding. “I aim to
ensure our clients are not only
satisfied with the final design
but also feel a true connection
to the process. Part of this is
educating them on what good
design requires, helping them
appreciate its value and the
thoughtfulness behind every
decision. By aligning client
expectations with the creative
process, we can achieve
exceptional results while
fostering deeper collaboration
and satisfaction,” wraps up
Govind.

Merging Wellness and Technology
Fitness is no longer just about a hotel gym.
Wellness resorts now feature high-tech
fitness centers with smart equipment,
allowing guests to maintain their workout
routines seamlessly. For designers, this
means fitness spaces are becoming as
luxurious and thoughtfully designed as any
other hotel feature, with a growing trend
toward incorporating fitness elements
directly into guest rooms.

Blending Medicine and Hospitality
Luxury wellness is also moving into the
medical realm, offering treatments like

NATURE & DESIGN
Bringing the Outdoors In
Nature remains a powerful tool in
wellness design. Biophilic design,
which connects people to nature,
plays a key role in creating calming,
rejuvenating spaces. From large
windows offering stunning views
to water features and greenery,
integrating nature into the design is
essential for enhancing the guest
experience.
What’s Next for Luxury Wellness?
The integration of wellness into
hospitality is here to stay. From
circadian lighting to air purification
systems, these elements will soon
be standard across the industry.
As designers, our challenge is
to continue pushing boundaries,
and finding innovative ways to
support guests’ holistic well-being
while staying true to the luxury
experience.

design-middleeast.com
What inspired your passion for
workplace design, and how
has your journey evolved in
the Middle East?
My passion for workplace design
stems from the fact that we
spend a significant amount
of our time in these spaces. I
believe it's essential that the
designs prioritise the needs of
the people who occupy them
over mere aesthetics. One of the
appealing aspects of work-
place design is the relatively
quick turnaround for project
completion; you can see your
vision come to life quite quickly.
Additionally, my upbringing in the
Middle East has influenced my
design aesthetic. The region's
unique topography and rich cul-
tural heritage continually inspire
my work.
Can you share insights on
how you approach workplace
strategy and change man-
agement for major corporate
clients?
It is essential to first understand
the core DNA of the company, in-
cluding its people, its operations,
and what has worked or not
worked over the past five years.
Equally important is grasping
the company's vision and goals
for the next 5 to10 years. By col-
lecting and analysing this data,
you can create a workplace that
enhances operational efficiency
and aligns with the company's
vision. This, in turn, leads to
greater employee satisfaction
and better staff retention. At
JLL, we have found that this
approach can result in a 30%
improvement in efficiency and
a 40% increase in employee
satisfaction.
How does your regional
knowledge influence your
design process and solutions
for clients in the Middle East?
Having primarily designed
offices in the Middle East, I have
a good understanding of how to
manage projects, drive change,
and influence companies to
adopt more effective work styles.
Each region and client is unique,
therefore there has to be a level
of individuality when it comes to
designing a space. This is why
the stage of data collection is
important in order to understand
and develop a tailored solution
for each client.
What role does lighting design
play in transforming work-
place environments, and how
has your advanced educa-
tion in this field shaped your
approach?
My decision to specialise in light-
ing design stemmed from the
realisation that proper illumina-
tion is essential to showcasing
a space as intended. The field
includes mastering light temper-
atures, understanding various
lighting layers, and knowing how
to create the right ambiance for
different activities. This spe-
cialised knowledge allows me
to create more cohesive and
impactful designs, elevating the
overall user experience in the
spaces I shape.
What are the key challenges
in corporate transformation
projects, and how do you
overcome them?
Without a clear vision, transfor-
mation efforts may lack direction.
To address this challenge, we
assist clients in developing a
clear and compelling vision and
strategy, effectively commu-
nicating it, and ensuring that
all initiatives align with these
overarching goals.
Another challenge we face is
managing stakeholder expecta-
tions, which involves balancing
the diverse needs and expecta-
tions of various stakeholders. Our
solution is to engage stakehold-
ers early and frequently, manage
their expectations realistically,
and adapt plans as necessary
based on their feedback.
How do you balance creativ-
ity and technical detailing in
delivering bespoke solutions
for clients?
We are quite fortunate in the UAE
to highly skilled craftsmen, along
with a very capable technical
team at JLL. We rarely encounter
ideas that are too difficult to
execute. However, it’s essential
to focus on creating a unique,
bespoke design that takes into
account the feasibility which
includes budget, programme, and
lead times.
What trends do you see shap-
ing the future of workplace
design in the Middle East, and
how are you adapting to these
changes?
According to JLL's recent "The
Future of Work Survey 2024,"
several key trends are shaping
workplace design in the Middle
East and around the globe:
• Focus on High-Performance
Environments: Workplaces
need to support more complex
work requirements driven by AI
adoption, top talent attraction,
and managing hybrid work
models. This includes creating
tech-enabled, adaptable spaces
that can support different needs
throughout the week.
• Emphasis on Social and
Collaborative Spaces: The main
reason many people are return-
ing to the office is to connect
with others. This means work-
place design should focus not
just on formal meeting areas but
also on how people can interact,
build relationships, and share
ideas in more relaxed settings.
• Sustainability and Wellbeing:
There is a growing emphasis on
energy efficiency, decarbon-
isation, health and wellbeing,
sustainability certifications,
climate resilience, and circular
economy principles in workplace
design. Companies are willing to
pay a premium for spaces that
have leading sustainability and
well-being credentials that cater
to the staff.
• Flexibility and Choice: Provid-
ing a variety of work settings to
support different tasks and work
styles is essential. This includes
a mix of focus areas, collabora-
tive spaces, social zones, and
amenities.

Can you tell us about the inspiration behind the cocktail menu and how Nikola Ristic’s crea-
tions complement the dining experience?
The inspiration behind the cocktail menu at JATO is to offer a selection of drinks that perfectly com-
plement our modern Peruvian cuisine. Nikola Ristic, with his extensive experience and passion for
mixology, has curated a menu that features bold and innovative cocktails. Signature cocktails like the
Pimento Margarita and the Hoja Del Sol are perfect examples of how Nikola’s creations elevate the
flavors of our dishes and add an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
How does JATO plan to cultivate a loyal customer base and stay connected with Dubai’s dy-
namic and international audience?
Cultivating a loyal customer base and staying connected with Dubai’s dynamic and international
audience is a top priority for us at JATO. We plan to achieve this by consistently delivering exception-
al dining and entertainment experiences, engaging with our guests through social media and email
newsletters, and offering exclusive promotions and events. We also value feedback from our guests
and use it to continuously improve and innovate our offerings. By adding a few international dishes
like our smashed wagyu burger, we aim to create an inclusive environment to allow comfortability to
the international palette.
What’s next for JATO in terms of expansion, events, or new concepts that guests can look
forward to?
We have several exciting plans in the pipeline for JATO. We are planning a series of themed events
and collaborations with other renowned DJ’s, chefs and mixologists to keep our offerings and ambi-
ance fresh and exciting. Additionally, we are working on introducing new concepts, such as private
dining experiences and exclusive chef’s table events, to provide our guests with unique and memora-
ble experiences. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to evolve and grow.

in Construction: Shaping the Future with Today’s
Transformative Technology

T
he construction industry,
one of the oldest and most
impactful sectors, has tra-
ditionally been slow to em-
brace innovation. However,
we are now standing at a
crossroads where technolo-
gy, creativity, and sustaina-
bility merge to redefine how
we build. At Craft Group, we’re focused on har-
nessing cutting-edge technologies and creative
design processes to accelerate construction,
improve efficiency, and ensure sustainability
for every project. The future of construction is
being built today, and we are proud to be one of
the charge leaders.
The sector is undergoing a profound trans-
formation, largely driven by technological
advancements. At Craft Group, we’ve adopted
technologies like BIM, which has become the
cornerstone of our design and construction
processes. By digitizing every detail of a project,
from the first design concept to the final execution,
we ensure that our projects are not only functional
but also innovative in their execution.
Meeting the Demand for Speed
One of the biggest challenges in the construction
industry is meeting the ever-increasing demand
for speed and efficiency. This is where fast-track
construction becomes crucial. The traditional
construction timeline can often be lengthy, but we
can compress these timelines without compro-
mising quality with fast-tracking techniques. This
approach is particularly important in large-scale
projects like the Riyadh Metro Visitor Center,
where the need to deliver quickly is paramount.
Fast-tracking requires seamless coordination,
innovative planning, and rapid adaptation to
challenges. By maintaining an agile management
approach, we can stay on schedule and meet the
ambitious goals set by our clients. >>>

Blending Creativity with Execution
The creative aspect of construction has
always been one of the most rewarding
parts of the process. However, as much as
creativity is essential in defining spaces, it
must also be paired with precision and at-
tention to detail during execution. At Craft
Group, we take projects from concept to
execution, ensuring that each develop-
ment phase aligns with the client’s vision
while incorporating the latest construc-
tion technology.
By working closely with designers,
engineers, and architects from the outset,
we ensure that the client’s vision is not lost
in translation. We use the latest modelling
tools to visualize and refine every detail,
allowing our team to solve potential
problems before they arise. This approach
leads to projects that are aesthetically
impressive, structurally sound, functional,
and durable.
Sustainability at the Core
Sustainability has become more than a
trend—it’s an imperative. It takes on even
greater significance in Saudi Arabia, where
we contribute to Vision 2030. Projects
like Khaybar Volcano Camp and Daimu-
mah reflect our commitment to blending
cutting-edge design with environmentally
responsible construction.
Situated in Harrat Khaybar,
the camp is a 3-hour drive
from AlUla and is surrounded
by Black Volcano, Umm Jirsan
Cave, and Jabal Al Qadr.

Tech-Driven Industry While technology plays a central role in the future of construction, the human element
remains irreplaceable. This means understanding the community’s needs, respecting cultural heritage,
and ensuring that each space is not only functionalbut also meaningful.

The Human Element in a
Tech-Driven Industry
While technology plays a
central role in the future of
construction, the human
element remains irreplacea-
ble. This means understand-
ing the community’s needs,
respecting cultural heritage,
and ensuring that each
space is not only functional
but also meaningful.
Take our work at Al Bujairi
Visitor Center, for example.
Here, the challenge is to
blend modern techniques
with the preservation of
this heritage site’s legacy. By
integrating state-of-the-art
construction methods with
traditional craftsmanship,
we can build spaces that
honour the past while em-
bracing the future.
Smart Cities and the Future
of Infrastructure
As urbanization continues
to surge, the demand for
smarter, more efficient
infrastructure has never
been greater. The rise of
smart cities is no longer
a futuristic concept but a
growing reality. We’re at the
forefront of designing and
building these intelligent
spaces. By incorporating
smart systems into our
designs, we ensure that the
projects we create today
will continue evolving and
adapting to future needs.
Looking to the Future: Inno-
vation, Sustainability, and
Creativity
The future of construction
lies in the ability to merge
creativity with technology,
tradition with innovation,
and sustainability with
scalability. It’s not just about
executing projects—creating
spaces that inspire, inno-
vate, and stand the test of
time. Our projects—whether
hospitality developments,
cultural landmarks, or
state-of-the-art visitor
centres—demonstrate that
innovation is not just about
technology; it’s about creat-
ing meaningful spaces that
leave a legacy.
As we look ahead, the
opportunities are endless.
With fast-track construc-
tion, smarter design, and
a deep commitment to
sustainability, the future
of construction is exciting.
We’re not just building
the structures of tomor-
row—we’re building the
foundations of the future
while preserving cultural
heritage. At Craft Group,
we are proud to be at the
forefront of that transfor-
mation.

inotti has unveiled its new
flagship store in Dubai, in
partnership with Al Tayer
Insignia, showcasing exquisite
designs including the Nico table
by Hannes Peer. Blending poetic
elegance with sculptural charm, the
Nico table draws inspiration from
the bold aesthetics of the 1970s. Its
striking base, crafted from inter-
locking geometric forms, creates
a captivating play of solids and
voids, making it the table’s defin-
ing feature. Available in marble or
wood, the base supports a round,
oval, rectangular, or hexagonal top
with softly rounded edges, ensuring
a seamless continuity of materials.
This harmony between form and
material gives the Nico table a
timeless appeal, bridging past and
present with sophistication and a
bold stage presence.
